Keep the kids hopping with THPRD's spring break classes
|
Your schedule might not change, but spring break (March 21-25) leaves you with a house full of energetic youngsters whom you'd rather not see turn into tater tots on the couch for an entire week.

Here's what you can do ...
|
THPRD offers a variety of spring break camps and classes for just about every interest:
Tualatin Hills Athletic Center:
- Sports Madness Camp features a variety of sports and two swim days for ages 7-11.
- Volleyball Camp for ages 9-13, with basic instruction and life-skills training all part of the package.
Nature Park Interpretive Center and Cooper Mountain Nature Park:
- Nature Explorers Camp for ages 7-11 will show off the unique habitats Oregon offers -- right in our own backyard. This is a weeklong camp from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. each day.
- Afternoons in the Park for ages 6-9 features a different theme each day.
- Camp Wild Things for ages 4-6 is a great opportunity for youngsters to explore Cooper Mountain. Has morning and afternoon sessions.

Park District tip of the month: How do I obtain my THPRD residency card?
|
To obtain a THPRD residency card, complete the registrant information form
and bring it to any THPRD facility with your current Oregon driver's license or DMV identification card and a second piece of identification as proof of your residency status (i.e: utility bill, lease agreement, insurance card or property tax statement). Staff will be able to give you a temporary card to use at that time.
Anyone may join THPRD, but out-of-district residents need to purchase an assessment before participating in THPRD classes and programs. For more information about residency requirements and assessments please read our registration policy. >> Read more
